Rescheduling the Date of the UGC – NET June 2024 Examination
The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the
task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian
nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant
Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission
to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges. The National Testing Agency (NTA)
will conduct UGC – NET June 2024 for 83 subjects in OMR (Pen and Paper), mode.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representation from the
candidates to extend the date of Examination for UGC – NET June 2024 due to UPSC CSE
(Prelims) Examination – 2024 on the same date, i.e. 16 June 2024.
In the interest of aspirants, the National Testing Agency has postponed the Exam
date of UGC – NET June 2024, as per details mentioned below:

The notification regarding intimation of City of Exam Centre will be displayed on NTA
website(s) https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and www.nta.ac.in, prior to 10 days of Exam.

- Admission to all the programs offered at this University for the year 2023-24 are based on Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

The National Testing Agency released the notification for CSIR NET for 2024 on 01 May 2024. Candidates who took part in the exam need to know that the window to apply is available on 01 May 2024.

The NTA conducted the CUET (PG) – 2024 on 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23,
27, and 28 March 2024 completely in CBT mode in 572 different centres located in 262 cities
including 09 cities outside India i.e. Manama, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Ottawa,
Abu Dhabi, Vienna, and Qatar.
